If so, your employee will be free to work in the Netherlands (as long as there is no question of an undesirable declaration, for example).<\/p>\n<p>If your employee does not have the nationality of an EU\/EEA member state or Switzerland, and is\ntherefore a third-country national, your employee may need a residence permit and work permit. Depending on your employee's position, there are various residence permits that can be applied for. For example:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A start-up<\/li>\n<li>The national highly skilled migrant scheme<\/li>\n<li>An intra-corporate transfer<\/li>\n<li>European blue card<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Fast-track procedures have been developed in some cases for employers who are recognised\nsponsors.<\/p>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"row align-middle\"  id=\"row-1321871352\">\n\n\t<div id=\"col-110269908\" class=\"col medium-6 small-12 large-6\"  >\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"col-inner\"  >\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\n<p>If you are an employee and wish to take up employment in the Netherlands, you may need to apply for a combined residence and work permit. This includes the residence permit and the work permit. This is not always necessary.
